Drive safe

I
started to drive when I was 17 years old. I took driving classes at
school for a few weeks and passed my test. As an immigrant, the
classes helped me a lot because I was new to the USA and the traffic
rules were different from that of my country. The driving classes
provided to students help them to understand rules and other things
associated with driving more deeply. They are being tested over and
over which help them memorize it. Also, they show us some videos
explaining the effects of careless driving which causes a huge impact
on teenagers. Personally, the videos were touching and depressing.
The things that I saw in the video is still in my mind that makes me
. Therefore, driving classes are an effect tool to reduce
deaths caused by driving.
 The
death as a result of driving is increasing at a faster rate in the
USA. They are several steps to reduce it. Do not drink and drive
because that can kill you and others, do not text while driving
because that cause distraction, and maintain the speed. These three
steps are the most effective ways to reduce deaths caused by driving.
I am a careful driver and I have never been in a car accident before.
My dad always told me to because every life is precious,
and they do not want to lose me. I had a horrible experience when I
was travelling with my cousin sister. She was speeding up in the
highway because we were late for the movie. A bus coming from the
opposite side almost hit us. We barely escaped from a wreck. 
In
the United States, many people are dying from road accidents. While I
can’t control many risks on the road, I can set myself up to as
safe as possible and that can be done by following several things in
our daily lives. Do not bother about the phone while driving. Put the
phone on silent or do not disturb mode. Avoid every distraction.
Maintain the car in good shape and make sure the tires and brakes are
in good condition. Do not drive if you feel sleepy. When driving take
rest in the resting area if you are tired. When driving, keep a safe
distance from the car in front of you so that if the car breaks you
are not at a risk of hitting the car and causing a wreck. Despite
all, educating others is very important because it not just me on the
road. Therefore, by being a good driver I can influence others and
that will make me and others safe on the road.
