is the importance of drivers ed in reducing the number deaths
as a result of driving?

Driver
education plays a crucial role in reducing the number of deaths as a
result of driving through providing awareness and statistics to
motivate drivers to be safer. Through such courses, new drivers are
able to get a feel of what lies up ahead, thus tasking them with
their responsibilities of driving safe and ensuring an overall
decrease in vehicle related accidents and deaths.


What
steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to
driving?

Educate
drivers more, and set up a points system where better driving=less
insurance premium paid.


Have
you ever had an experience of being in car accident or have seen
your friends or family members driving irresponsibly?

I
was in a car accident and the driver ran a red light and was on her
phone while driving. She didn’t pay attention and hit us from the
side.


What
steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help
others become safer on the road?
I
would always wear my seatbelt, and ensure all the passengers in my
car do so as well. I would always give a turn signal when I want to
change lanes and drive at the speed limit. I would also keep an
appropriate distance from the car in front of me so that I don’t
tailgate them.  If everyone takes the same actions, then we’ll
be able to decrease the accidents collectively.
