Driving is a very important part of life. It is when you are given the freedom to get your own car keys and your own car and drive freely to wherever it is that your heart desires but the reality is that many young drivers underestimate the dangers that are faced with the responsibility of driving. There are so many casualties and falities that happen due to careless mistakes when driving. Have you ever heard the saying Don`t text and drive? That saying is there for a purpose to avoid major accidents from happening as careless young drivers are more prone to making these mistakes. It is really important that everyone receives the proper driver`s education so they know all the dangers in the street and what they can do to prevent any accidents from happening when driving. The steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths during driving is not texting, eating, or drinking when driving and to always keep your number one focus on the street and on your surroundings around you when you are driving to ensure yours and everyone around you safety. I have first hand saw someone in my family drive irresponsibly by texting and not wearing their seatbelt while driving and it was a pretty scary experience to think of the possibility of us maybe getting into a deadly car accident due to irresponsible behavior during driving. I have recently just gotten my learner`s permit to drive and I know that what I am going to do to be a safter driver and help others be safter on the road is 1. To wear my seatbelt, 2. Never text and drive, 3. Never drink and drive, and 4. Keep my 100 percent focus on the street and my surrounds to avoid getting into a deadly and dangerous situation that driving carelessly can sometimes lead to. My goal is to make the world a better place with less people dying from car accidents and the dangers that come from driving and it should be your goal as well. Why not try to make a world a better place by doing something so simple as driving more carefully and watching out for dangers around you? Wouldn`t you want to be able to save thousands of lives with just this simple step? The good news today is that you can: You can start being more careful when you drive and that one step will not only be able for you to ensure your own safety but it will also help you ensure the safety of the whole society for many generations to come. To conclude, my challenge to you all is to start thinking on what can you do now to help reduce the number of car dangers while driving and what you can do to drive more safely. This small action will make a profound impact.
