Driving with a
Purpose


If Oprah worked at the DMV,
safety precautions would have to be made because no matter what,
everybody’s getting a car! Drivers ed is a class that teaches
students the key philosophies of operating a vehicle and being aware
of things around the car. Drivers ed makes better drivers,
refreshes parents on what to do when operating a vehicle, and it
allows newer generations to be more prone to driving safely. The
concept of driving is quite simple but can be difficult to learn, but
school systems supply students with Drivers ed teachers in
order to better simplify the learning process. Everyone may want a
car, and Oprah will give somebody a car, she better put them in a
Drivers ed classroom.

Drivers
Education makes better drivers in schools, towns, and counties. The
class has diverse modules that each describes different aspects of
driving. The school provides this class in order to educate students
on how to drive safely. This class prevents accidents and keeps
students knowledgeable of the things going on around them. Taking the
Drivers ed class takes time but is well worth it and keeps
students safe overall.

When
students learn about driving they tend to go home and talk about what
they learned in order to gain their parents trust behind the vehicle.
Many parents forget the driving rules and with age think they know
everything. Parents can be reminded of what is right and wrong to do
in a vehicle, therefore they are safer and so is their child. Drivers
Education is a class that some parents may have not had the class or
the credentialing in order to learn how to drive properly. This class
betters not only parents but also their children.

Teaching
newer generations about driving allows them to be less prone to make
stupid mistakes. Things like texting and driving are covered in
Drivers ed and are speaked on heavily because many wrecks have
been caused by that. Young drivers tend to get in a vehicle thinking
everything is easy but it is not as easy as most think. Drivers
Education lays down the law on students and makes driving more
serious then it seems. While the class is long and strenuous, many
teen lives will be saved because of this course.

Why
the government let Oprah have so many cars, I don’t know, but I’m
sure she values Drivers ed just as much as everyone. Not to
mention she gets ran over in an episode of Drake and Josh, which
couldn’t have been too fun. This class taught me many things
beginning with what to do on a right on red, who has the right of
way, and how long to wait before proceeding into traffic. Learning
these things could have saved my life, and I know they have made me
smarter for times to come. Now that I am educated and know more about
driving, I will gladly take a car from Oprah!
