Fast and furious more like friend or foe

With this knowledge, I want to propose the idea of how we can reduce these casualties or remove them entirely. The main thing I do to avoid car crashes is to get into the mindset that everyone around me is an idiot in driving, I know this sounds kinda rude but I'm telling you that it will make your drive better. It’s all about mentality and when you assume this idealogy you tend to play it more safe. You space out away from people, make sure to stay away from people who look like they aren't paying attention and so much more. I know this mentality sounds a little funky but I promise you if you go into the mindset you will drive safer. Another thing that I propose to help eliminate the death counter is to have a system were it disables your phone when it tracks your movement speed. When you are about to drive your phone begins to track or at least make sure that you are in a vehicle and once you move it disables your phone. The only thing that can happen is someone calls you and you can only answer that on your car dashboard. This idea isn’t something groundbreaking but can at least help people not get distracted and keep them focused on the road. I’ve thought about this for a while and I hope the future of technology benefits society in keeping people focused on the road.
I know I can do all this talking but I’ve had many family members that have been in car accidents. Fortunately, I have never been in an accident which is great and shows that my idea of being in a mindset is great. Family members have told me how scary and painful a car crash can be. My mother has been in 3 crashes and each has left her messed up. She can still walk and function but her body aches with pain. Moving her joints you can hear a couple of things that shouldn't be sounding. She constantly tells me to drive safely and that a simple mistake or someone's mistake could cause me to crash and make my body fall into constant pain or even worse death. This idea scares me. My grandpa got into a heavy accident due to him being a trucker. Sadly because of this accident, he ended up passing away due to fractures in the body. That is why whenever I see one of my family members drive irresponsibly like not being in their lane, not checking their mirrors, using their phone, etc. I scold them and tell them to stop doing these things. This could be the end of you if you don't try better. Due to all of this, I tend to judge how people drive or at least pay attention to the things they do.
I said all of these things but how will I make a change or what actions will I take to prevent the deaths or accidents of others? First I will be focused and not tired while driving. Making sure you are attentive and not getting distracted is key to not crashing. Another is making sure that my phone is put away or somewhere that won't bother me or have the urge to use it. Because the main thing that causes accidents is phones. One thing that I know a lot of you probably didn't think of is to make sure that your breaks are really good or at least can stop you for a good amount of time. Good breaks can come in clutch when you need to. Sometimes you need to slam the breaks so making sure that you have good breaks can always be beneficial at the end of the day.
Overall I hope that you learned something during this essay. Its always important to be safe while driving because your life is always more important than that text message that you send. Make sure not to be fast and furious because that could always be the end of the road for you.
