Throughout a day to day life something that we have to do to go place to place is drive. Even though we do this, are we really doing it safely? Just watching my parents or other family members I see speeding or texting that could be harmful to them or others. Drivers ed is something that we do once in our lives in the beginning of driving but then we throw it all out the window the next minute. Drivers ed is there to teach us what is right and what is wrong in the aspects of driving so that it can keep us and anyone on the roads safe. We all know that there are certain consequences for things we do while driving but a lot of people necessarily don't care which is very dangerous to others. Knowing that as a teen and me and my friends are starting to go on the road, there needs to be more precautions so that we all will stay safe. Some things that I think can help everyone, is by having more classes that will talk to people about being safe while driving and these will be voluntary but if you go you can get a reward or something to encourage people to go. I have never been in an accident that was because of irresponsible driving but I know people who have. So that we all can stay safe while driving, no one should be on their phones or doing things that they know will harm them or the other people driving as well. A good way to think about it is if you had a kid in the car would you still be doing this action?
