The importance of driver education is to teach a person how to drive safely by teaching them how to follow and understand the traffic laws.It also teaches you about recognition of hazardous materials. Also teaches us how to be responsible on our own driving behaviors. It helps people make informed decisions behind the wheel. Also teaches how to be aware of the road rules and the safety practices. How to act in case there is any work being done on the roads we are traveling. Driver education helps decrease the road accidents and fatalities caused by drivers that don’t follow the laws.
Also having to know the road safety can prevent many dangers of the road and make roads safer for everyone else driving.
The steps we can take to reduce the number of deaths related to driving is always be aware of the road rules your traveling. Also practice defensive driving with someone that has the certification for promoting the defensive driving school.Always wear your seatbelt no matter how close your traveling. We should always avoid the distractions and that is including our mobile phone. Also keeping our vehicle in good maintenance to keep it running smoothly especially the tires to avoid any accidents.Don’t drink and drive or being under the influence of any drugs including prescription medications since some have side effects that you can’t be driving.Follow all the traffic laws.Us mothers also get distracted when traveling with our children and some tend to turn back and be screaming and arguing with them and that causes accidents as well so we need to learn how to park to the side where it’s safe. Also accidents are caused by inpatient persons so they need to learn how to be patience and understand not all people are recklessly drivers. Also know the route you’ll be taking and check the weather conditions before you head out.Always leave early to your place of destination since when people are running late they tend to speed to get to their destination on time.People tend to tailgate behind the cars and brake on a short time and that's when you cause an accident.Do not pass vehicles when you can’t see the upcoming traffic or it’s not a passing zone.
Yes I’ve experienced being in a minor car accident but seat belt helped me not slamming in the windshield.Yes I’ve seen my loved ones be driving and texting and I tell them leave that phone and pay attention to the road. Also I’ve experienced losing a loved one due to a drunk driver exiting the highway ramp speeding and impacting into the car my aunt was traveling and slammed into her side and she passed away instantly due to the impact and ever since that my husband stopped drinking and driving while under the influence.
The steps I can take to be a better and safer driver is leaving the cell phone and paying attention on the road and avoid texting while driving.Avoid all the distractions possible and stereos also distract us while driving. Also to learn how to park on a safe place to check on our children when crying or fighting.Another thing is taking away keys from anyone who might be drunk or under the influence of any drugs including prescription wise and can’t drive. This used to be main reason my husband and I ended up arguing when he used to drink and get drunk because I would hide his keys sine he used to get drunk and wanted to leave but that didn’t stop me from doing that.Take a good rest before driving and make sure to eat healthy while driving since a lot of sweetness makes a person tired and sleepy.Plan to drive around when there is less traffic.Avoid driving when it’s raining my main dislike when driving is when it's wet or getting dark since people tend not to see better when it’s dark.People need to slow down and drive to conditions of the road. Also something I hate is drivers don’t use signal lights for their turns or sometimes they have the signal light and end up going straight and that's when accident occurs.
In the end safety is the main step for driving and don’t multitask while driving. Always always keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel and always make sure you rest before getting behind the wheel.Always safety,Look ahead,Look around and leave room between the cars so you will be able to brake on time.
