“Oh no! Mom...” Before the last words come out a car traveling next to the car crashes into it. Forcing the car off the road and into a tree. Where a young daughter and mom dies on impact. How tragic is that? Very, if you ask me and also very sad. We always hear the phrases, click or ticket and of course no texting and driving. But what about driving with caution, or better yet drive for yourself and others. The role of a driver is very important and should be executed with caution and respect for themselves and others driving. When I think of the title “The Drivers seat” a few things come to mind, where as firstly the driver seat is the most important and dangerous seat in a vehicle. Secondly, drivers must understand the importance of driving with caution. And lastly showing respect for yourself and others on the road.
I bet you’re wondering why does she say it’s the most dangerous seat in a vehicle, right? Well of course sitting in the back is very comfy and relaxing, not having to worry about much. But a driver seat, well that’s where all the action goes down. That seat is the seat that maneuvers the vehicle. And if it’s maneuvering improperly things could happen. As when I mentioned in the introduction, that car that crashed into the victim’s car was driven incorrectly. In the driver seat you are faced with many responsibilities and should perform them well.
Secondly, driving with caution is so important. Being that driving any vehicle can be dangerous you want to drive with caution to avoid any mishaps. It’s too late to say “Oops” after you run someone off the road and they die on impact. If the person was driving with caution, that would have never happened. Driving with caution keeps the driver safe as well as pedestrians and other drivers. A cautious driver is a safe driver.
We all know that respect is a small word that holds a lot of weight. When I say the driver’s seat should be shown with respect, I mean just that. So that means if you driving and get a text from a friend inviting you to a party it can wait. Getting a phone call and you yelling and cursing can wait. Don’t put your life and others at jeopardy for something that can wait. You have to stay focused to the road and show respect for each sign, each intersection, each pedestrian, and each driver.
In conclusion I have provided what I believe on the topic “The Driver’s seat”. I really hope it touches someone to understand the sole importance of that seat. There are many deaths to come from car crashes as well as the pandemic we are facing (Corona Virus). So please keep in mind some key importance on drivers’ seats. Know that the driver seat is important and could be dangerous with poor skills. Also know to always drive with respect and always use caution. Think about that mom and young daughter to die from someone in “The driver’s seat”.
