2026 Driver Education Round 1

That is why i wanted to share my thoughts on this matter in the hope of opening some minds and was happy i found a place to do so.
I am glad you are reading this now as it is a step to spread awareness.
Afar from the regular drive safely must knows -like avoiding distractions, phones and eyes on the road- is medications, they must be took into accountability if you drive daily, due to some substances in certain medications that give a resting and sleepy sensation, which lead to nodding off in the middle of the road, speaking of which.....
A memorable experience for me is when my cousin picked us up from the airport, i remember him looking extremely tired joking about not getting a wink last night, i was concerned but i was not my place to say anything so i just laughed it off hoping he was actually kojing.as we went a bit into the road my cousin got quiet while we wee all chatting, suddenly we were swerved roughly and all I could hear was my sister screaming and a lot of honks.
Thankfully we were able to avoid crashing thanks to good drivers that were around us, and after the commotion it was found that it was my cousin`s fault due to him being half asleep, then he parked and called us an uber to avoid any further accidents as he was not qualified to drive at the moment, of course we all did not want him to stay in the car sleeping in the middle of nowhere sleeping like he said but we had no other choice. This time thing did not escalate due to the drivers around us, and I do not want to think if we had not.
Getting back to our unpopular drive safely must knows, putting children less than 13yrs old at the seat beside the driver, children are curious by nature and totally unpredictable so, when the driver is already tense this will be a recipe for a car accident that no one is in short of. to avoid that there are many kinds of children car seats that do both preventing the child from distracting the driver and greatly reduce serious injuries if an accident happened.
It is designed to literally keep your child safe and although it is best If there is an extra person in addition to the driver and the child, sometimes one had to do with what he has so, it is a must have for families with children.
Seat belts are also a must know it is written about countless times as it should be. Everybody knows that yet I still see those who realize it's importance too late. Once i went with my uncle in his car and the seats had their seat belts cut out/broken, i talked to him about it and he said that they are expensive plus I should not believe anything I see on the internet, I remember avoiding him at all cost after that, and on the other side I am glad that he have not been in any significant accident. 100
Another important cause is driving while mad, it is quite easy to tilt your foot just a teensy tiny bit when you are not on your right mind for example if you wanted to cool off, start by a simple walk, even if it was just around the cat, do not risk your well-being for stupid reasons.
Last thing I would like to stress about -again- is the first reason a.k.a medications because i do not see enough talk about it, even simple common meds like antihistamine (1st generation) can cause sudden and extreme drowsiness do not argue with the "most medications have no side effect on me" that might be true indeed but why risk it?
So, it is best to avoid any kind of transportations while taking it and if you must, please talk to your physician about it, as there might be a substitute with no such side effects, although it might be more expensive, but it should be done.
you and me are excellent drives always looking forward even while distracted, but we have to stop getting distracted and look around us too, because we may be the ones who are able to fix others "unbothered" mistakes.
