Is
Texting Worth Risking Your Life?

Is
texting worth risking your life? Answer is no! Most drivers text or
talk on the phone instead of waiting because there in such of a rush.
But trust me it can wait. That 1 second your looking down on the
phone could end so deadly. The importance of drivers ed in
reducing the number deaths as a result of driving is people being
educated on the number of deaths due drivers not paying attention to
the road but paying attention to their phone.
The
steps we can do to reduce the number of deaths related to driving are
we can post signs everywhere about how unsafe it is. Another step we
can do is have activist come speak on the importance of the driving.
Also have people share their stories on being in an accident or
people witnessing accidents, because they can be a very traumatizing
experience for them. I haven’t personally been in an accident but
I’ve witness several accidents on the highway and also on the
street. I’ve seen a car run through a house due to texting and
driving an almost killing a child in the home they ran into. My
cousin lost his life due to a driver not paying attention to the road
on the highway. His car was hit in the back which made his car go
under a semi-truck. It exploded and he died instantly. It’s a sad
situation because as much as we try to press the issue its still
people who continue to do it knowing what the outcome can be. Its
either a life or death situation. Which do you choose? I CHOSE MY
LIFE
Steps
we can do for better safe driving are to mindful of others. Now and
days we have to for others because of the lack of attention. We also
have hands-free devices to help us during driving. I phone have an
automatic way to turn your phone on driving mode which means you
don’t receive any calls or texting to distract you from driving. If
you really can’t wait until you stop to answer or respond, then you
should just pull over. It’s not worth losing your life or anyone
else life over a phone. Just remember IT CAN WAIT! Sponsored by AT&T
