Preventing
Car Accidents

The
importance of drivers ed is bare minimum when related to the
reduction of deaths from driving. Although it does inform new drivers
about the rules that must be applied on the road, it does not
prohibit the reckless people from injuring or killing others. People
who drive vehicles are expected to be responsible enough to not do
anything considered endangerment, and the people who cause accidents
tend to be people who were driving under influence, not paying
attention to the road, and doing other trivial actions that do no
good. Drivers ed is only a utility for the people who act
responsible, but the ones who cause accidents are people who should
not have been driving to begin with. There is true accidents yes, but
many car crashes are known to be caused by an irresponsible driver.

Steps
to prevent the number of deaths related to driving would involve both
drivers and the government. A driver can prevent accidents by doing
many actions. Drivers first off need to be alert. There should not be
any distractions inside the driver's seat like texting or watching a
video on their phone. Drivers need to not rush to work or whatever
event there late because it causes drivers to speed and act
carelessly not being considerate of the danger they are provoking.
Drivers need to not have road rage as blind rage makes people do
idiotic things. As for the government, they can only do so much such
as planting more speed limit signs in more areas. This will help
hopefully have drivers slow down on the pedal. More police cars
around the area should also intimidate drivers to maintain the speed
limit.

From
personal experience, I see the way accidents have happened and how my
friends and family behaved on the road. From personal experience, I
know how vital it is for people to pay attention on the road. I
almost lost my brother two times because of his irresponsibility on
the road. I love my brother and I would not know how to react if he
lost his life in an accident that should have never happened. My
father and my mom would go against the rules every once in a while
because they were late to work and would do things like U-turns in
illegal spots or run a red light every once in a while. It was all
with a reasonable goal but that does not excuse the danger they
caused. For me, I utilize their mistakes to prevent actions on the
road. I never have road rage on the road. I always drive on the speed
limit. I do my best to stay responsible
