2026 Driver Education Round 2

Point number 1 states that driving a car is a privilege not a right. Not everyone is, nor should they be allowed to drive a vehicle . If someone has not completed drivers education or has not gone through the legal process of obtaining a drivers license, then they should not be able to drive on the road. The reason for this is because without drivers education, how would people understand the common rules of the road and how to properly operate a vehicle. Drivers education makes the rules of the road fair and clear for everyone driving a change. But without an accredited drivers education program and license, drivers would be like a doctor who did not get a degree. That is very scary and not ethically right. Driving is a responsibility that should only be for people who are willing to put in the time to learn how to properly drive. Especially teen drivers, they see driving as a form of freedom, fun, and independence. Driving can be this way but only after someone has taken the time to go through drivers education. If someone is not going to drive correctly and follow the rules then they should not be allowed on the road vaciar this can cause harm to those around them.
Point number 2. points out that if someone makes even the smallest wrong move, someone’s life could be lost or they could be severely injured. Thousands of people die each year from car accidents and crashes. Not even mentioning the number of people who become disabled or injured because of uneducated or ignorant drivers. Drivers education helps to educate drivers on the importance of driving safe. Teaching them to not drive if they are intoxicated, extremely tired, distracted, etc. People who do drive under these circumstances are often the ones that cause accidents and deaths to happen. Drivers education teches students and shows student what can happens if they drive under bad circumstances. Death is serious, lives are changed and not for the good. Parents, friends, loved ones, lost all because they someone made a mistake when driving. A mistake that cannot be taken back. If they would just remember and listen to what drivers education taught them, then I believe the number of deaths due to car accidents would decrease.
Point number 3. driving can however also be extremely useful. Especially if you live in a big city of state. In Texas, no matter when I and going take me about 30 minutes. Whether it’s too school, my friend’s houses, or somewhere fun, it is going to take 30+ minutes. But without driving people would have to walk and then it would take far more time. Driving is also used for different jobs, like 18 wheelers and mail trucks delivering important services/goods. Driving taker you where you want to go and in an effective manner. Also some other important reasons firing is useful is for emergencies. Firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars are all vehicles that are used for helping and saving people’s lives. If these drivers were not certified and took drivers education they would not have a job.
Drivers education is important for ruducing death numbers due to car accidents. As drivers education helps to teach people how to drive and operate a vehicle safely. Death numbers are high either because a driver did not receive a good drivers education program or the driver did not follow the rules of the road like they were taught. If people would just drive like drivers education teaches, many lives could be saved. Taking drivers education does not take too long and if it can save lives then why not do your part in making the road a safer place? Drive safely, drive responsibly, drive educated.
