What I think is
important about drivers ed is that it helps educate us on
learning the rules of the road to help us drive safe. It also
educates us on what not to do when we are driving. Some of the things
like speeding, drunk driving, not paying attention to signs on the
road, and also not looking in rear view mirrors. I think it is very
important to educate people who are going to become drivers. It is
also important for us to know what all of the signs on the road mean
so we don’t get into accidents. I think an important step to reduce
the number of deaths related to driving is to study the california
drivers handbook that is sold at the dmv. Another step for people to
take is to take some driving practice tests along with you studying
the drivers handbook. I think people also need to pay more attention
on the road and not daydream or play on their phone or talk on their
phone while driving. I also think that people should not have any
alcohol in their system if they are going to drive. I personally
never experience an aggressive driver but my mom has when she was a
lot younger. My great grandfather on my moms side used to drive drunk
which therefore made him an aggressive driver. I have never been in a
car accident because I have never rode in a car with an aggressive
driver. I don’t know anyone directly who has been in a car
accident. I don’t have any family members or friends who have been
in a car accident. Steps I can take personally to become a good safe
driver are studying the drivers handbook and take practice tests
online so I know the rules of the road. I can also have someone in
the car with experience teach me how to drive and help navigate what
I need to do. I can also learn on being a concentrated driver so I
don’t get into any accidents. When I get older and I do start
drinking an important thing for me to know is to never have any
alcohol in my system when I am about to drive. These are all the
steps I can take on how to be a safe driver on the road.
