My driver’s ed teacher always told my classmates and me that, “It’s not if you get in a wreck. It’s more of when you get in a wreck, and when that day comes, you are going to survive the wreck because you wore a seatbelt, or are you going to be another statistic”. Almost 56% or 16,836 people, of the 30,251 wrecks die because they did not wear their seatbelts. Drivers should always pay attention especially when there are stop lights; this year 939 people died because they ran a stoplight.
