Even if improvements in car safety technologies have contributed to fewer deaths, human error still plays a big role in these catastrophes. By giving drivers the information and abilities they need to drive safely and responsibly, driver education plays a vital part in resolving this problem. In order to lower the number of driving-related fatalities, driver education is essential. In addition to teaching people how to drive, a well-designed driver education program raises knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving practices, and the repercussions of engaging in risky behavior. It gives novice drivers the skills they need to recognize and react to possible risks like severe weather, poorly maintained roadways, and distracted or intoxicated drivers. The emphasis on educating new drivers on the risks associated with dangerous driving practices, such as speeding, texting and driving, and driving while intoxicated, is one of the most important components of driver education.
