It teaches them the rules of the road, what different signs mean, how to make certain turns and many other things that would prevent accidents from happening. Putting your phone on silent, listening to music quietly, focusing on just the road, and reducing the number of people in the car at the same time would reduce the number of deaths driving as well as taking more action for driving under the influence, one of the biggest reasons for driver’s accidents and deaths. I have never been in a car accident or seen any of my family members be in one however, my dad has been in several as he used to text and drive a lot on the road which is super dangerous. I will make sure I have as little distractions as possible and spread awareness to things that cause accidents to friends and family such as driving under the influence and texting and driving.
