attention, that is probably the most important thing. You need to
block out all distractions, and direct all your focus to the task at
hand, paying attention to just the road and nothing else. A big
problem for young drivers today is cell phones. It is a huge
distraction while driving. The temptation to look while driving is
monstrous. Data says cell phone use while driving causes over 1.6
million crashes EVERY year. I think this is the main issue that needs
to be remedied other than just following traffic laws. There should
be a way for people to not be roaming on their phones while driving,
or there should be a way to keep them just out of reach where you can
still see them if you need a GPS.
