Driver’s
education is the foundation of today’s drivers. That is our first
exposure to driving and the basis to all drivers. This basis and
foundation is the most important aspect of driving. It is the future
of the society of drivers. Driving is essential in today’s world;
so many different aspects revolve around diving. Being born into this
world where driving is part of everyday living, you forget that every
time you get in a car you are putting yourself at risk. Being aware
of all of the dangers and risks while driving can influence a driver.
Driving in a car is a risk, but it is a necessary thing meaning we
can’t brush over the safety measures. Those measures are here to
protect you, and drivers ed is here to teach you to become
the safest driver possible. Car accidents are apparent and sometimes
they are unavoidable, but reducing the risks is something we can do.
There are a multitude of people who die from vehicle related
accidents. All of those deaths should be an example that the safety
measures should not be taken lightly. A seat belt should always be
worn whether you are the driver or a passenger. A seat belt isn’t
there to be a nuisance or as a recommendation, it is a law and it is
there to protect you. Taking 2 seconds to put on your seatbelt could
save your life one day. Also, with all of the technology advancements
they have created a big distraction while driving. My biggest advice
would be to not let it be a distraction. Is texting that person back
worth risking your life? Why would you take driving safe and wearing
a seat belt lightly when it is literally a life saver? Everywhere you
go there is always people driving irresponsibly, encouraging and
being an positive influence on them can go a long way. Just because
you only have to go a short distance or you have been driving for a
while does not mean that you are immune to car accidents. They can
happen to anyone at any time or anywhere. Do not take driving on the
road lightly or encourage others not to take it lightly.
