My Uncle Hui: Behind Divers Seat:

My Uncle Hui is one of the most experienced and respected drivers I know. He started his journey from a young age, growing up as a crew member on a PMV (Public Motor Vehicle), traveling long distances between our village and the town, which is about 281 kilometers away. Over time, he learned to drive by watching and learning from his late father, and eventually became a skilled PMV driver himself.

Uncle Hui seems to have many driving secrets that make him one of the best on the road. His careful and respectful approach to driving has earned him a good reputation among passengers and fellow drivers.

Every morning before he starts his daily passenger runs, Uncle Hui carefully checks everything on his vehicle. He looks at the radiator water, oil levels, brake fluid, and the condition of the tyres. He makes sure the vehicle is safe and ready for the journey ahead. Before leaving, he also says a prayer to our Heavenly Father, asking for protection and guidance on the road.

One special thing about Uncle Hui is the way he shows respect to places where road accidents have happened. Whenever he passes these sites, he puts on his double blinkers to show a sign of respect for those who lost their lives there.

Uncle Hui also respects his passengers and always drives according to their requests. The passengers help control the speed, and he listens to their instructions. This makes everyone feel safe and cared for during the journey.

The other thing about my uncle, is that he knows the road so well. Even most part between the roads has no traffic signal, but he knows excetly were to slow down for a hump, potholes and shape turn off corners.

Also the, other thing that stands out for uncle Hui is that, he enjoy drinking alcohol. He is known to be a heavy great drinker, but he has a strong personal rules- he never drinks when driving. He always takes his responsibility seriously and always keeps safety as his first priority.

During many of my school holidays, I follow my Uncle around, as his crew. I usually feels safe, around him. He is not only a great diver to me, but my role model and the best driving teacher I have. I’ve learnt a lot from him, how to become a best driver myself.

My Uncle Hui is more than just a driver—he is responsible, respectful, and deeply experienced. His dedication and careful driving make him a true role model for others on the road.

Well, From the story of my uncle Hui, I personally think that, to be a driver, for a Public Transport Service or Private family Transport. We must know that it is a responsibility that must be seriously taken care of. Many times accidents occurres when drivers take this responsibility lightly.

Many minor factors contributes to serious road accidents. As a driver, I sometimes regard some of the factors like normal or no big deal either. Factors like drinking and driving, answering phone while driving, overtaking, it’s like normal to me personally. But in fact this are some of the real factors that can cause an accident.

Just recently on our main highway, we recorded an road accident that was  caused by a small flies. Yes, It actually sounds funny, but it actually happened. Luckily the driver and the passenger received minor injuries because of smoothness of road.

It all happened when the flies flew directly into the cabin of the driver. The driver while driving, forgot this responsibility as driver. He, then became acting like an exterminator, trying to end the small flies while driving at the same time. As a result, he lost his control the vehicle, which roll off the road.

This particular accidents clearly shows, the driver did not take his responsibility as a driver that seriously, he even did not respected the passengers as well.

To conclude, I think we must take the responsibility of driving more seriously and always prioritise the safety protocols when driving. Every big accident that occurs are caused by our own ignorance. Traffic signal and rules are not observed and lack of self -Respect which usually causes the accidents .As the saying goes ,you are the captain of your own soul. Nobody will tell you what to do, you as a driver, knows what to do when driving.

Thank you very much for your time reading my essay. As a driver you’re self, I know you have learnt good things from my essay.
