Driver Safety

The
importance of driving education is to be a safe driver and to cause
less casualties on the highway. Driving education is important for
people who are ready to hit the road and to be safe from drunk people
on the road. The education helps you prepare for accidents that
happen or when you are involve in them. Driving safety is very
important today because people are still dying to reckless driving
every day. I believe there are 3 important steps to help us reduce
driving accidents on the road.

The
first step to reduce accidents is to reteach the teachers of driver’s
education every year because the roads of the law are changing, we
need technology that is going on around us. The teachers will have a
better understanding on the laws in their state and increase their
knowledge, so we don’t have reckless people on the road. They can
extend their knowledge to the students who are going to be on the
road.

The
next step is to create or extend the law that will stop people from
texting and drinking. If we have a law saying you can’t hold your
phone while you are driving, then people can’t do it by the law. It
takes mental action to do it, but people don’t understand. If they
break this law, we can put a fine from $100 to $500 to make sure
people aren’t doing it. One day, I didn’t know I had another
aunt. I didn’t have the chance to meet her because someone hit her
while he was drinking and driving. I heard she was a good and nicest
person in my family who cared about others around her. She was smart
and playing on becoming a nurse or doctor. That dream was taken away
by an irresponsible driving who was drunk. I think this will helpful
to considered. Her death happened 25 years ago in Nebraska.

The
final step is having an oath of the road that the people must
memorize, and if they break this law, they will have a fine or break
from driving to a month or beyond. If people know an oath that will
have to follow it to make sure that they aren’t hurting anyone
else. This oath will be a key importance on driving safety, and
president can make this oath to show that he cares about the people
in the United States. If the president makes this oath, we know that
this is a serious situation that is happening in the United States.

I am hoping these laws will change people’s perspectives on being a
safe driver to care about the people on the road. I am putting my
phone on do not disturb so I can pay attention on the road. I am
looking online on how to be a safer driver by watching YouTube videos
about how to become a safe driver and reading stuff about the road to
expand my current knowledge of the road.
