Traffic
Fatality Prevention Awareness
Educating
yourself on the annual traffic related fatality statistic is
important because, it puts the thought of such events into your mind
– which connects emotions – connecting emotions helps store the
thought of such event happening into your short and long term memory
bank related to commuting. Now future commutes will involve the
thought of being a potential influencer on such events could affect
how you commute. With everyone’s participation in such education
may result in a decrease with traffic related fatalities as a result
of being more aware of your personal contributions to the annual
statistic.
Paying
attention to your surroundings, defensive driving, drivers’
education, and promoting awareness can all be the product of reducing
driving related fatalities. Traffic collisions happen all too often.
I know that I, along with many others, have witnessed careless and
irresponsible behavior of select few individuals while they operated
motor vehicles. Luckily their actions did not result in injury, or
fatality at the time – but none the less their actions
significantly increased the probability of a potential collision
during their commute.
Promoting
safe driving awareness education, potential results of ones actions
(injury’s, statistics, fatalities, distracted driving, impaired
driving), and increasing fines could help decrease the number of
traffic fatalities.
