Q
1: What is the importance of drivers ed in reducing the number
deaths as a result of driving?
A: In
regards to driving (just as in anything else) without education there
is no hope. In order for there to be safety for all of us on the
roads, educating everyone is vital. Just one driver without access to
the proper road education could cause the deaths of countless people.
Q2: What
steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?
A: Easier
access to driving school/classes could help prevent vehicular-caused
deaths. Many people aren’t able to afford the education necessary,
or have the means to get to where the information is available. This
often results in the individuals having to rely on the (possibly
incorrect) information of non-authoritative figures.
Q3: Have
you ever had an experience of being in car accident or have seen your
friends or family members driving irresponsibly?
A: I
have almost caused a car accident due to my impatience. It was a
terrifying moment in my life, and the guilt I felt overpowered any
desire to rush while driving. Since then I have exercised more
caution in my driving, and intend to use my own bad example to help
my younger siblings become safe drivers.
Q4: What
steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help
others become safer on the road?
A: Always
staying updated on, and memorizing traffic rules will help me be a
safer driver. Sharing any and all information that I find, can help
those around me be safer drivers as well.
