How to be a safe Driver?

How to be a safe Driver? Before you start driving always make sure that your mirrors are adjusted for you. Make sure you are sitting well enough for you to reach the brakes and the gas pedal. Then put your GPS on and music if you’d like just at a good volume. You would like to be cautious and watch for anything and anyone. You have to look at your surroundings and your blind spots all the time, you have to multi-task while driving by looking at the road and looking at your blind spots, always keep your eyes on the road, keep your hands on the wheel, wear your seatbelt drive the speed limit, and obey the traffic signs, You never want to mess with the radio or music, the only thing important is keeping others safe and yourself. You want to keep your eyes out for pedestrians and always let them cross or walk. Never use your phone while driving it distracts you from driving. Always have a backup plan when going to your destination, just in case the road is closed. If you have passengers in the vehicle always make sure they have their seatbelt on. When in a construction zone reduce your speed just a little bit so you don’t hit anything. Keep a good space from you and others, you don’t want to hit anything and if there is someone who isn’t paying attention you have enough space and time to move out the way. Also keeping a good 3-4 seconds away from another vehicle. Think safety at all times especially when you have others in the vehicle and others outside of the vehicle. Never depend on other drivers but look out for yourself. Do not assume another driver is going to move out of the way or allow you to merge. Assume that drivers will run through red lights or stop signs and be prepared to react. Make sure you have your indicator working and make sure you put your turn signal before turning right away so that other drivers know that you are turning. To be a good and safe driver you want to steer, brake, change gears, and accelerate smoothly. Put of driving categories you want to be the Defensive Driver, not The Weaver, The Multitasker, the Angry Driver, and The Speeder. Always check your mirror frequently and look ahead of you from 20-30 seconds away. Keep your eyes open if a driver is showing signs of aggressive driving slow down a bit or just take another route to avoid them. Ways you are not being safe are speeding, quick lane changing, and rushing through a yellow light. Tips to avoid being an Aggressive Driver are Staying calm at all times, planning ahead and anticipating delays, focusing on your own driving, avoid creating a situation that may cause problems, giving room to aggressive drivers, avoid eye contact with other drivers who are on the road, use the left lane only when passing, use your horn when it is an appropriate time to use, Do not challenge anyone to anything when it comes to your own vehicle, ignore the rude gestures and refuse to return them and Give them the benefit of the doubt. To be a good driver you want to carry emergency stuff with you, in case you get a flat tire you have the tools in the back of your car, if something were to happen about your battery and it dies to make sure you have the jumper cables as well, and if someone is hurt you have a safety kit with you so that you are prepared for or anything that may happen. Replace your windshield wipers if they are damaged in case it rains. If there is something wrong with the car make sure you hear the problem. At night and driving on an open road make sure you use your high beams in case anything pops out at night or maybe an animal, if you see an oncoming car turn your high beams off so that you don’t blind them. Always stay alert at night. When it comes to whether you might want to reduce your speed depending on the weather, if it rains drive carefully and use your break carefully as well you do not want to slip, you want to take corners or turns slowly. Accelerate gradually, when it snows and ice comes into play you have to maintain 2 hands on the wheel and take control you also want to be careful when driving make sure to look out for black ice.
