Think smart and pull over

I believe going to driving school will be very important when I receive my driver’s license and the year 2001. Things were so different than what they are today. I am glad that you have to have your driver’s permit for six months before you go for your driver’s license which gives you more experience on the road. It shows you how to deal with others and you must take the driver’s course.

I was involved in an accident in the year 2002 with my ex-husband who used to race cars on the highway this day was a sunny morning in the summer. The rules were clear not much traffic on the road and my husband and I were planning a road trip to the race track in New Jersey but we never made it there. his friends were driving some souped-up cars with turbo, and he decided to push his limit in his car. I was extremely scared. I asked him to slow down several times and his adrenaline started to rush at that point, he lost control of the car on the highway and the car dived into a ditch which I ended up bumping my head on the dashboard, and then it bounced off and I hit my head on the back my seat the front of his car was completely smashed in. Thank God I had on my seatbelt because I probably would’ve been dead. He walked out without went injury, but I had a huge bump on the back of my head and was bleeding and had to go to the hospital, I think God that no one else was injured or no one ended up dead, but I feel that he should take full responsibility of his actions. His license should have been suspended. He should have paid a fee and he should have driver’s classes all over again, and events like this.

I’m not sure if in my state is a requirement but I feel if you get caught driving at a high speed your license should automatically be suspended and you should not be able to drive for three months to a year and it should be mandatory for them to take the classes all over again I feel that when people see the consequences of their action or no the repercussion if you decide to drive fast, they know what are the consequences that come behind driving reckless.

There was also another event that happened to a friend of mine when they were out on a night of dancing. They had a couple of drinks. Everyone decided to drive the car under the influence two cousins decided to raise each other, one lost control and ended up in the cousin’s car, where the cousin almost lost his life and was in the hospital for three months with a hip and leg fracture, the family was at because the cousin that was injured wanted to sue the cousin that crashed into him because medical fees had to be paid, and he end up losing his job because he was unable to work. The family did not understand why the cousin who was injured wanted to sue them, but he had to explain to them. He wasn’t personally suing them, but the insurance company, but I believe that the cousin should have been sued as well for his negligence and their decision to race it to drink and drive the cousin did lose his license because of his alcohol level that night, and the families are still at odds because of the crash, I would say to a lot of drivers thing before you do, do not act out on impulse, do not try to impress others as you probably end up harming an innocent bystander or yourself if you’re not thinking clear, pull over, call someone that is sober that can pick you up and leave your car somewhere safe into your able to get it the next day never force yourself to do something that you know You’re not in the sound mind. That’s why I say thanks smart and pull over.
