Driving Education is crucial

The importance of driving education is crucial in today’s society, especially for younger generations. Since, nowadays we are influenced by technology. I mentioned we because even myself has been influenced sometimes. For instance, giving my cell phone priority over basic chores. These types of actions that other teenagers can relate to, can prove that even while driving technology can be set as a priority over their own safety and the people that are surrounding them. Apart from that, driving should be done with responsibility,mindfullness and following the rules while driving.

Even though I have no driving experience or neither have a permit to drive, I have come to the conclusion that driving is a privilege. Yet, teenagers nowadays believe that driving is having freedom and proving that we are now adults, it is much more beyond that. It is also having to take care of ourselves and the people that surround us. I have seen some cases in social media, these cases may vary and the collisions involved are all different for each person. Not only that but seeing those cases would give me a different perspective on how l should be aware of my surroundings, so I don’t put myself and the people that surround me in danger.

Some steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths in regards to driving is to inform people about the consequnces. That small actions can have and how it can impact your life in the future, due to irresponsibility while driving. Not only their life but also the people that surround them. Their life can be impacted by being involved in a car accident. Another step that can be taken is to respect the norms while driving. Such as, the speed limit, signs and road lanes. Along with being alert of your surroundings and the people on how they are driving.

Nowadays driving is a necessity, due to how much technology has evolved and how it is a method of transportation. This method has come in handy for many people by easily going to their location. Such as, work,school, medical appointments and other. That’s why I believe that many people should be well informed about driving and specifically the future generations. That some people might become bus drivers, commercial drivers,among other driving posions. Apart from that as younger drivers are allowed to drive they should be even more informed. Since teens brains are not fully developed, which can lead to poor decisions. For instance, texting while driving which not only teens can commit that action but also adults is poor decison making. And unfortunately driving under the influence is also poor decision making.These types of actions, as simple as they may be seen, can cause an impact in their lives by getting involved in a car crash. Which could lead to getting injured or getting someone else injured or even leading to death.

Thankfully I have not experienced a car accident. But my family has had a minor car accident, even though the reason is unknown of why the driver caused the accident. I do know that going through a car accident can be both stressful and difficult. As previously mentioned I have seen car accidents that people have posted on social media. Some with the goal of making a difference and making people realize the impact that a car accident can cause and others just to gain likes and following. Further on, I have not encountered my family members driving inadequately but I have seen many drivers driving inappropriately. For instance answering phone calls or even texting while driving. Even though some people believe that they can multitask it is astonishing to see this type of act and to know that if it is not done right or safely, someone’s life can be in danger.

As a future driver and a person who plans to make wise decisions while driving I plan to make a difference by primarily not using my phone while driving and not making it a priority. Along with, keeping any distractions away and being as well informed as possible on how I can be a better driver and how I can keep myself safe and the people that surround me. Since, it is not only myself that would be in danger in case of an accident but also the people that surround me. For instance,older people,children,parents or even students that have a life ahead of them. And even myself that has a life ahead and as a high school student who is going to be driving I need to drive with safety and a purpose to keep everyone safe while driving.
