My Personal Experience and Information of Car Accidents.

It’s not an easy thing to go through a car wreck. It is a difficult experience that often does not end and only worsens in characters that are touched by it. This paper is focused on my personal experience of involvement in a car crash with my mother as well as that of many other individuals who have been involved in car crashes. I look into the history of car accidents, the driving figures, and the repercussions of such accidents. I also came up with positive and negative views on people who influence car accidents. I enunciate that different shows of such a perspective are plausible and endeavor to substantiate the arguments with both pluses and drawbacks of uncumbersome solutions. And lastly, a summary of points can be made on advances that relate to car accidents in years to come and their effects on humans.

Me and my mother got into a car accident a few years back. It was an evening and it was raining, and we were on our way back home after visiting people. When we approached an intersection, another vehicle came speeding and they eventually hit our vehicle. It was a very severe and strong impact, and the two of us sustained small injuries. Despite the unpleasant situation, however, we were glad nothing else happened to both of us.

The implications of car accidents do not end with the individuals in the collisions alone but are further extended to their respective relations and even societies. It results in higher future increases in costs as far more accidents, even minor ones, and a barrier to complete fitness in all aspects and levels as some of the consequences lead to surgery and prolonged recovery and expense which results in loss of wages. Beyond the health and social aspects of a road accident, it is essential to determine the available and required resources for assisting the patient in the crash aftermath. Key players in the field have made significant advances in enhancing road safety and preventing bad accidents.

The field that has dealt with car accidents in the past has been blessed with all the notable personalities who have worked in various capacities as researchers, technocrats, and even consumer advocates to reduce the levels of discomfort that the population suffers from because of unwarranted road carnages. Commissioner of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, who was at the peak of his activism in the 1960s in the movement that produced the book ‘Unsafe at any speed’ is an example of such people who lent a hand to the efforts against badly designed cars and demanded a higher level of safety in the industry. Some engineers should be specially noted such as Nils Bohlin, an engineer with Volvo, who invented the 3-point seat belt back in 1959 and whose other engineering strategies continue to protect lives and households.

Key players in the field have made significant advances in enhancing road safety and preventing the causes of accidents. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in conjunction with other driving bodies, has distributed and enforced rules to the public on road driving habits. In the past, due to engineering and research work, major advances have enabled some safety devices like airbags, anti-lock brakes, and electronic stability control, among others, to come as standard fit products in most modern vehicles.

There are different theories concerning car accidents with the common being advocating for the enforcement and implementation of car control measures actively and on the other side some argue for the education of drivers to be equipped with relevant information to help avoid accidents. With transportation safety, however, it will require an all-rounded approach. Through the application of cutting-edge technologies, enactment of policies, and active campaigns, the improvement of the transport safety target is attainable. In retrospect, the perception of the car crash has shaped my mother and me in a significant way. Its influence has inspired the lesson that the least challenging of the tasks we perform daily is the one where death is most likely to occur. The understanding that the simplest of tasks–moving from one location to another–can lead to death has in certain respects redefined the journeys.
