The Significance of Driving

Driving safely on the road is an important task that everyone should follow, this is due to the many injuries and death that occur on a daily on the road. One way for people to improve this is to strictly abide by the laws and educate themselves with drivers education. This can significantly impact the amount of injuries and deaths that occur on the road on a daily drastically.

Drivers education is an important role in driving because it can reduce death on a daily because more people would be able to learn to rules on the road. With more people knowing the importance and rules of the road people would not try and break them but this is only if they understand the rules. People not only have to take drivers education to learn this but to make sure the drivers education is in their currently state for rules different in state city and country. Drivers education teaches students to drive safely by informing people about the risks that most people take on a daily such as speeding or even driving impaired. Another thing would be avoiding our vehicle maintenance. These programs also emphasize the importance of making responsible decisions behind the wheel, contributing to safer roads and fewer accidents.

Steps that drivers can use to reduce driving related deaths is one promote drivers education. This was already emphasized in my first body paragraph but the importance of this is very significant being able to comprehend driver education especially for young and inexperienced drivers can help keep our roads safe overall in a whole. Another would be strengthening our law enforcement having more traffic laws enforced would help lower these risk these should include speeding drunk driving and texting while driving. Another step would be adding advanced vehicle safety feature such as modern safety technology such as an emergency break or lane keep assist. Another would be design and making sure our roads are safe, some roads are not safe and are worn down making drivers not know where to go causing accidents overall.

A personal experience I’ve had with unsafe driving was when I was on a road trip to California from Vegas, my dad was the one driving we were on the free way and the cars in front of us decided to stop slowly, my father was able to stop on time because he was following the speed limit on the road but unfortunelty the car behind us was not. This caused the car to not be able to break in time which ended up rear ending us, thankfully we all ended out safe but our car did get damaged a lot due to this. Following the speed limit even in a free way is very important not only for yourself but for the people around you.

Steps people can take to become a safer driver and to promote road safely is to practice defensive driving such as staying alert being about to anticipate the actions of the other drivers around you and one of the most important thing is to maintain a safe following distance to avoid rear ending the person in front of you. Another would be avoiding distractions such as refraining from using your phone or engaging in other activities while driving. Avoiding small distractions like this could save you in the long run saving others as well. Another would be following the traffic laws, although this is very obvious some people will still not follow the laws causing others to be injured and potentially ending their lives. Never driving impaired is very important, avoiding driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, one of the main causes of death is due to this when you are planning to drink make sure to have a way home that is not you driving. Encourage safe driving amount others is important talk to friends ad your family about how it is important to drive safe and do not make them do risky things such as running a red light or speeding up in school zones. Another would be regular vehicle maintenance keeping your car in good condition by checking our breaks tires and other essential components regularly can help you and others stay safe on the road.

Overall promoting safe driving is important not only for you but the peoples around you, there are many ways to do this such as taking drivers education and telling others around you to pay attention on the road. Spreading this information can safe you’re life and even a family members do not be the reason a life is lost on the road.
