Drive fun but not reckless
The
importance of drivers ed in reducing the number deaths as a
result of driving the instructor knows what they are doing which
could be very helpful! A lot of teens think they do not need driving
instruction since they have a permit but even I was in driving
classes and so when I went to get my license I was comfortable. Not
only can drivers ed make you feel more comfortable and help you
out, but it also can save lives. A study shows that Drivers Ed
reduces crashes by 4.3 %.The
steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths relate to
driving are
-
When
getting behind the wheel put your phone in the back of the car so
you are not tempted to use it because many people, not just teens,
get distracted by their cell phone and end up crashing and sometimes
resulting in death -
Make
sure you are going the speed limit because people tend to speed and
not see cars around them and when coming at a fast speed can cause
car crash and death as well -
Be
careful when it is snowing or raining because that is when it gets
hard to drive and too many people aren’t careful. In fact in in
climate weather there are more crashes.
My
pap tends to drive irresponsibly a lot of the time. An experience I
have is one day my brother and I were in the car with my grandpa and
were approaching a red light. We were almost at the red light with
cars in front of us when my pap suddenly slammed on the breaks. My
brother and I had asked him what happened he said that he had not
been paying attention in front of him instead he was looking over his
shoulder at a building.
