Stay Safe On the Roads

I
feel like it is very important for drivers to take some type of
drivers ed class. If you don’t have a drivers ed,
you are at a high risk of not knowing the proper way to drive. That
is why we have drivers ed classes so we could learn how to drive. The
class is needed so you can learn the rules of the road, street names,
and different highways. I feel like the main reason that we have
deaths on the road is because people stop paying attention to the
road for whatever reason that is. Most people usually take their eyes
off the road to check their phone, change the radio or are just
distracted by friends that they have in the car, especially
teenagers. If people would just stop taking their eyes off the road
and pay more attention to the roads at all times the amount of deaths
would decrease by a lot. Not too long ago, I got into a car accident.
It was because of mistakes that I had made that caused me to get into
this wreck. The wreck could have been much worse but I am glad it
didn’t. I will say, I have never seen a friend or family member
driving irresponsibly but I have experienced a friend getting into a
car wreck with an 18 wheeler. Never in my life have I ever seen
anything so scary until I experienced a car accident myself. Steps
that could make me become a safer driver is by paying attention to
the roads at all times and being aware of my surroundings. Anything
could happen the minute you take your eyes off the road.
