A Life Once Loved

There it all goes in
an instant, a family friend, a best friend, a brother, a boyfriend,
one terrible crash brough heart break to an entire community. This
young boy who brought joy and creativity, but within seconds all of
that was taken away. He was driving down the road when he was hit by
a distracted driver, killing him on impact. The whole community
mourned his loss, he was loved dearly. If only people practiced safe
driving habits, if only people actually believed in the risk of
driving, if only people were educated on the importance of driving
focused, maybe just maybe he would be with us today. Listen to the
people who warn you against distracted driving, don’t drink and
drive, and pay attention to the driving educators when you are
learning to drive, remember their wise words. When you listen and pay
attention to those who are wiser and more educated than you are, you
decrease the probability of a fatal accident. Education is a
preventative for accidents because when people understand the rules
and risks of driving they are less likely to make mistakes. So
please, please listen to the wise and don’t drive distracted. I
don’t want you to have to mourn a life you once loved.
