Driving Safely

There are a lot of car accidents everyday everywhere. Technology has really affected us in every way, but mostly in car accidents. A friend might text you while you are driving and you want to respond, but it distracts you from focusing on the road and you can crash into poles, trees, downhills, or other cars. It would be way better to not pay attention to the phone while you are driving and look at it when you get home. Drinking alcohol is another major reason for accidents. Teenagers that go to giant parties can have drinks while they are there. The teens that go to the extreme in drinking, should not be driving all the other people to their homes. There should be at least one person who didn’t drink and they can take you home safe. On the other hand, teens that are drunk and drive have a bigger possibility of crashing because their vision will be blurry and their five senses aren’t all active. Another solution for this is that they call their parents to come pick them up. Another reason why there are accidents might be because of kids. They might not be old enough to be in their best behavior especially if they have siblings. They tend to fight while they are on the road and the mom can get distracted by them fighting and being loud. The person driving needs for it to be not loud so that they can concentrate on the road. I have seen so many accidents in a week in the common streets that we drive by. I know someone that their car flipped because the brakes weren’t working and my friend’s mother died instantly. It is more safe to have your seat-belts on at all times because that accident caused her death since she didn’t have her seat-belt. You can also go flying out a window if your parents are about to get in a crash and they press the breaks fast. Speeding faster than what you should go and not stopping at the red stop signs can also cause serious accidents. There are signs for people to see at what speed they are supposed to be going and the stop signs are also there for a reason. You have to keep yourself and everyone else around you protected and not cause an accident. You can break your back, arm, leg and other parts of your body. You can even be in a wheelchair for the rest of your life or even dead. People have to take more precautions and be aware of their driving. You shouldn’t let anything distract you from keeping your eyes on the road. Do not be tense during driving and just relax with some music. If there is a friend with you in the car and you are talking to them, make sure you are paying attention to the road too. Driving can be fun, but don’t have too much fun because a text could ruin your entire life and you will always regret it.
