D.R.I.V.I.N.G: Delayed Reactions In Vehicles Is Not Good

Whenever
someone wants to get into doing something, it is always important for
the person to have knowledge of what exactly they are doing. In
today’s society, a big upcoming desire in teens is driving. For a
teen, driving a car is like walking around with a loaded gun; it’s
a dangerous thing because of the rising number of car accidents
occurring over the years. Educated drivers that practice safety
techniques are most likely the drivers that are staying safe on the
road to protect the lives around them, as well as their own. It is up
to you to be a safe driver so that you may spare your life and the
lives around you.
Technology
usage in cars makes up a fair portion of all causes of car accidents.
Likewise, speeding is a very avoidable, but common, cause of car
crashes. To regulate the use of technology, some social apps like
Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook could introduce a feature that
shuts off a driver’s phone when travelling at a certain speed. In
doing this, drivers will lose access to any technological distraction
so that they can focus on the road. To regulate speeding, car
manufacturers could install an automatic speed adjuster to slow a car
down so that the driver will stay at or below the posted speed limit
in all areas.
Unfortunately,
I have been in the presence of two car accidents, neither of which I
was the cause of. In
both instances,
I took note that the accidents occurred due to a wrong-timed turn.
When I drive, I will always keep these two experiences in mind so
that I'm always staying out of the way of danger.
One
thing I will do is always obey traffic laws and regulations because
they are the same regulations that save lives and prevent injuries.
Monitoring the speed that I'm travelling will definitely help me stay
safe on the road because those speeds markers are definitely more
than just minor suggestions. I could also advocate the consequences
of driving offenses like drunk driving, texting while driving,
speeding, and other violations so that drivers can stay safe and not
have delayed reactions that put people in danger.
