The Importance on Safe Driving

One
day when I came home from school, I was getting ready to go to work.
I realized I had about a couples hours before work so I decided to go
take the car to wash my clothes at the laundromat. I called my sister
to see if she was okay with me taking the car. Although I didn't have
a permit, nor a California ID, I realized that there could be a
possibility of me getting pulled over. No one responded to my call,
so I said to myself screw it I'd drove before I can do it. I managed
to take the car out of the driveway and I proceeded to skirt my way
to the laundromat. I used my turning signals, I merged correctly.
When I came home, I told my sister out of honesty and she told my
father. My father didn't get mad, but he did lecture me on how
everything could've gone worse if I got pulled over. I then realized
that even though I know how to drive a car, I should get my ID, and
my driver's license in order to take the car without causing any
problems. Who knows what could’ve happened that day, maybe I
would’ve gotten in a car crash and my butt would’ve been handed
to me. The rush and adrenaline may have felt amazing, but being safe
and following the driving instructions would’ve felt much better.
