The safety of driving

The importance of driving education is really important. The importance of reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving could happen in many different ways. One and the most important way of reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving is the usage of cellphones. People like to think that they have the skill of multitasking while driving a car which most of the time is not the case. People use their phone while driving to the point where if they look at a text people like to say “it would only take a second” to them looking at the text for too long or them responding to that text and then causing an accident and ending up taking a life. Another way of reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving is by wearing a seatbelt. Some people really need to get into the habit of wearing their seatbelt more often. I have heard many and many stories of people flying out of cars during a car accident. I have one personal story of one of my friends. One day he was driving home from working a long shift, and he was a little tired and he wasn’t paying attention to the road. Then a car came out of nowhere and hit him head on. Although he did not fly out of the car, his head did go through the front window. The third and definitely not the least another way of reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving is speeding. I have countless stories of friends speeding and stuff going wrong. One of the main stories that i have was when my friend first got his first car. His parents bought him a very nice new sports car and the day he got it he went out with it. He hopped on the highway and he counted to record him driving upwards of 100+ miles and hour. Then when he thought it was all going right. His wheels hit a little stream of water and his car hydroplaned and hit a guardrail at around 95mph. Luckily he survived but he survived with major injuries. Another story I have is from another one of my friends. He had just upgraded his car and he thought that he could handle the power right out the box before even trying to get used to it. He had a brand new 2022 bmw sports car and he wanted to try to make it the fastest bmw in the world. The car had been in the shop for a month or 2 and when it was all ready to take delivery of it he decided to have a little bit of fun with it. He took the car out to the back roads and decided to step on the gas causing the car to spin the wheels in the back and the car almost spinning out. He had been going for a few blocks and since it was dark out there a blind corner was coming up but he didnt see it coming and in the few seconds he had he slammed on the brakes causing the car to lock up and start to slide and smack into a wall almost killing him. The Fourth but definitely not the least is reckless driving. Now there are really scary stories to tell about reckless driving but one of the main ones happened in Germany on a road called the Autobahn. There was a brand new Audi RS6 and he had a set goal to try and hit the top speed of the car. There is no video of the actual accident but there are videos of the aftermath of the accident. The car hit upwards of 300 kmh which in mph is around 180 mph. After hitting that insane amount of speed nobody really knows what happened but the car shattered into pieces and the people died due to the impact the car had. The people in it automatically died. The moral of the story is that even if speeding and reckless driving is allowed, it isnt everything and you shouldn’t speed if you don’t know what you are doing. The tips that I would tell someone is don’t use your phone when you are driving unless you pull over the person that you are texting and then keep going about your day. Wearing your seatbelt is also a must because it keeps you in a seat in case of an accident or even in everyday driving.
