My 12th birthday was unforgettable, it was a day filled with joy, family, and celebration, but it also became an unexpected lesson about the importance of road safety and responsible driving. What began as a morning of warm wishes and sweet treats at Dunkin’ Donuts turned into a sobering reminder of how dangerous reckless driving can be.

The day started perfectly. My dad was driving, my mom sat in the passenger seat, and my little brother was in his car seat behind my dad. We were on our way to Dunkin’ Donuts to pick up some special birthday treats before school. As we drove, my family showered me with love and excitement. I even received calls from my grandma, grandpa, and aunts, all singing “Happy Birthday” to me and wishing me well. I felt so happy and grateful to be surrounded by so much love.
