Deaths due to car accidents have only increased in the last few decades especially with the onset of social media and new age technology .Humans are more distracted then ever before in this day and age. Whether it be in Pakistan or in the USA everyone can agree that driving recklessly is not okay at all.A good driver education is of utmost importance and is one of the key steps to prevent this from happening as a teacher can guide everyone properly on the dos and don’ts of driving and the consequences that come with it. However humans don’t learn until they make their own mistakes which is why the laws need to be stricter to prevent deaths from happening. More deaths due to car accidents happened in the last few decades then in all the wars combined ,, why is everyone so distracted nowadays? A good drivers education with a proper strict instructor will bring everyone to their senses only through harsh training can young people learn what’s right and what a not during driving. The instructor can tell them to keep their phones aside while driving and be more stricter while teaching . This will help everyone in the future. A good drivers education will make young 16 year olds realise how serious it is to use a vehicle and how dangerous it can get while out on the road. Getting trained young will make many civilised citizens good drivers in the future which in return will bring the statistic of car accidents and deaths down.

One of the many ways to prevent car accidents and deaths through driving is by making the drivers test more stricter and harder. This will result in only serious responsible mature people being allowed to drive instead of more irresponsible reckleless drivers getting on the road. I believe that driving is a very important part of being independent and free however the age of driving should be higher then 16 for the United States of America because it will result in lower car accident statistics. Only mature responsible people should be allowed to drive so that there are more serious and less distracted people out on the road. Road rage and drunk driving can get pretty common in the young crowd so checking if anyone has a history of that before letting them get a drivers license or the test can be a good way of preventing car accidents.

Another way to prevent car accidents and bringing the statistics down is by developing a stronger public transport system that some cities of the United States are lacking , this will result in less frequent car accidents as younger people would prefer public transport over driving. It can also make travel easier for people and they will remain in a better mood which they won’t get by being stuck in traffic in the car.I have seen lots of people driving around with while talking to somebody on the phone, this can result in car accidents and dangerous consequences which is why the laws need to be stricter so that no body is allowed to use the phone in a car. Stricter measures can be taken if car companies start building features inside the car that prevents people from using the phone or getting distracted on the phone , technology has come a long way in this day and age , making good use of it to prevent car accidents is the right thing to do.

Traffic police needs to be sharper and stricter when it comes to road safety and driving. Charging high amounts of fees for breaking laws will also prevent people from getting distracted it will make everyone disciplined so that they don’t get fined. Dubai is a good example of this as it is a place where the fines are usually really high which prevents people from driving over speed limit, getting distracted or to forget wearing their seatbelts, this is why the road accidents are alot lower in Dubai and similar countries. Stricter laws need to be implemented which will bring people to their senses and make them responsible citizens. My own father got in an accident with a biker before however both the biker and my father were not affected but it opened his eyes sand made him more responsible while driving after that. Implementing lower speed limits will also prevent car accidents along with installing cameras on traffic signals as that will prevent people from breaking signals and then causing accidents. Bad driving can result in horrible tragedies that are extremely preventable in this day and age. Before a drivers test everyone should get thoroughly examined for a history of alcohol or drug abuse as well as a proper checkup should be done regarding their mental and physical health so that any future driving accidents can be prevented. Alcohol and drug tests need to be more stricter so that any future DUIs and deaths can be prevented. Anybody who goes for a driving class should be given a lesson on the consequences of bas driving and why they need to be serious and responsible everyone they get on the road especially for younger drivers. Older people shoulder be allowed to drive after a certain age and should be provided with the proper assurance and help that they might require and they should instead hire a driver or have their child do tbe driving to prevent any accident on the road due to bad physical health affecting their driving skills. Driving is a skill and like any skill it takes alot of practice to master which is why I think people should learn driving and take driving lessons for alot longer so that by the time they get their drivers license they are completed equipped with the right tools and mindset. Getting a drivers license should be slightly more challenging and only good drivers should be allowed to drive instead did handing our the drivers license like candy because everyone is capable of careless driving regardless of age.In my country Pakistan the drivers are extremely responsible because it is extremely easy to get a drivers license which results in further more deaths and car accidents and I have seen horrific car accidents scenes throughout my life which I wouldn’t even wish on my enemy. Showing images of car Accidents during driving classes can also make new drivers understand the consequences and the harsh deaths they would cause due to their actions. Harshest laws should be implemented so that people who cause car accidents and bad drivers end up in jail for far longer which in return will make them realise how serious the consequences of their actions are .Bad driving only causes anxiety and stress for everyone in the vehicle and outside which is why drivers should learn to relax and stay stress free to prevent accidents.

Another way to prevent deaths through driving is by making roads wider so that traffic jams become less common or to just inplement methods and plans to prevent traffic jams from happening so that people on the road don’t engage in fights and stay calm while on the road so that they don’t end up in in a accident due to road rage or bad driving due to a bad mood from being in a traffic jam for hours on end. In Europe and the UK the driving test is alot stricter involving a written and practical test which is another way to properly test a learner before handing out a licence. In America they don’t test higher speed skills like merging onto a busy freeway, going through a roundabout, or driving in bad weather, whether the tests are easy or hard, they should evaluate how well drivers perform in real world situations with real world drivers which the current tests are not doing properly resulting in bad drivers who can only perform parallel parking and the basic things taught in a drivers lesson . The drivers test needs to be longer and more time-consuming so that it properly evaluates a person’s full capabilities instead of only the bare minimum. The America road and written test are notoriously easy compared to other countries which might be a big reason why the statistics for car accident and deaths due to driving keep going up because just about anybody is able to pass is which shouldn’t be the case. With UK driving test pass rates plummeting year on year, now at just 46.3% on average resulting in a lower death by driving statistics as compared to the USA we can now understand where the problem is stemming from. Learners in Japan are expected to attend a mandatory driving camp for 26 hours. Requirements also involve taking a theory exam, five days driving practice, and finally a practical exam.

In China, the theory test contains 100 questions and requires you to memorise 1,000 in total. There are then two separate practical assessments, followed by a final theory test, both countries with a lower death by car accident and driving statistic then the USA , eye ear tests should also be mandatory and only 16 countries around the world do that.

I will take measures to always be safe while driving and never engage in road rage drunk driving or any other reckless behaviour. I will always switch off the phone while driving never eat or drink in the car or pick up phone calls , play loud music or cross speed limit as well as keep my eyes on the road at all times and prefer not talking while driving and keep my 100 percent attention on the road and this is what I advise everyone to do. I have always wanted people around me to be better drivers as our one mistake can ruin so many lives in just a split second so it is our responsibility to be good citizens and follow the law.
