gift of education

Many
deaths occur daily and the rates become higher every year, the reason
behind the high death rates is linked highly by car accidents. The
importance of drivers ed is to give an opportunity for people
to learn the big responsibility of owning a vessel, to learn that
driving is a privilege that not everyone gets and by giving in time
to teach and learn the responsibility of having the chance to be
behind the wheel gives it a bigger meaning. Without a driver’s
education, we all would be driving recklessly and thus having a high
incline of the death rates. Yes the time it takes and cost could be a
down side but at the end is worth knowing that you can do it and know
that it makes a greater good to keep not only yourself but others
safe too.
Steps
that could be taken to reduce the number of death could be by having
strict laws and make rules to enforce the safety of the citizens. Not
everything could be thrown at once, baby steps is the key. For
example, no texting while driving is one of the big reasons there are
accidents and by having officers be more cautious about this rule
then there is a high possibility of lower risk. Little by little more
rules could be added but not all would be 100% followed but it
doesn’t hurt to try because at the end is the thought and trying
that counts.
I
have personally not been in a car accident but have almost gone into
one because of reckless drivers not paying attention to the rode or
other “excuse”. I did end up losing my uncle back in 6th grade
due to a car accident because of a driver that decided to leave his
truck in the street with no emergency light on and thus being really
dark my uncle did not see the truck and having him crush and pass
away instantly. Yes it is frustrating and I do still hurt because he
was like a father to me but things happen and sometimes they happen
unfairly.
Steps
I can do to become a better driver and to help people such as friends
to become better drivers is take advantage of the education give to
us. Not only to drive and get to places but to also follow the rules
give because it is a huge responsibility and by owning a vessel such
as a car is a big privilege given that could easily be taken away or
become deathly. Take the time to go through all the steps and all
because patience is key and is worth the greater good.
