Have you ever
been on the road and seen a reckless driver? A reckless on the road
can cause problems for more than just him or herself. When I was
about 15 my friend’s moms was hit from the side by a drunk driver
and was killed. He was devastated and didn’t come to school for
about a month, I remember him telling me everyday how he missed his
mother it was very sad to even hear. Being a safe driver is more
about protecting your self there are other people on the road too
that. I feel like if you are not responsible enough to be a safe
driver then you should not be on the road at all.
Being a safe
driver can help you in many ways also too. If you are a safe driver
you can get low insurance rates which will help you a lot. You could
qualify for accident forgiveness and also you can avoid wear and tear
on your car. I’ve been driving since I have been 15 and have yet to
have had a ticket or have yet to be in a car wreck. Being a safe
driver will also prove to people that they can ride with you, a lot
of people are cautious about who they ride with because of how people
drive.
Reckless driving
is nothing to play around with, whenever you are on the road you
should worry about who’s in the car with you and how you are
effecting others who are driving around you. Another thing when you
are driving make sure you are looking out for reckless drivers, even
if you have a green light keep watch around you. Being safe is always
better being sorry.
