Drivers ed is paramount in ensuring that the next generation of
teenagers/ adults going onto the road are informed and aware of
accidents that can occur while on the road. It is important to make
sure that the individuals behind the wheel know about the dangers of
driving and take the utmost precautions to drive safely and securely.
To reduce the number of deaths while driving, drivers must make sure
that they are driving without distractions, are driving in their
right mind, and are aware of the rules of the road. These steps will
make sure that drivers are safe and cautious about other cars and
their own cars.
A month ago, I was involved in a minor accident along with another
car and all that I can say is that is important to constantly
remember the laws of the road and to be extremely cautious and aware
of your surroundings when driving. When you get into an accident,
you’ll be scared and panicky but it’s important to remember to
call for a trusted adult and make sure everyone’s okay first.
To become a better and safer driver, I can make sure that I am
checking my mirrors every few minutes and drive the speed limit. As
well keeping an eye out for pedestrians at night and any cars that
may not be following the rules of the road. Finally, make sure your
cell phone is put away and that if even if you’re going to be
jamming out to music – your primary focus is always on the road.
