is the importance of drivers ed in reducing the number deaths
as a result of driving?
Driver
education givens students a first-hand view of the road with a
trained professional. It shows the young driver what can happen if
you’re not focused on the road. It only takes a second for a
distraction to occur and cause a major accident or even a fatality.

steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?
Step
to be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving
includes getting the proper rest before starting a long trip. Mapping
out your route and installing rest stops along the way. Ensure your
passengers stay wake with you and watch the road with you.
Have
you ever had an experience of being in car accident or have seen your
friends or family members driving irresponsibly?
I
have never experience a car accident personally, however, I have seen
friends driving irresponsibly after football practice. One incident
involved a player driving too fast leaving the parking lot and
crashed into a fence. He wasn’t injured, however, he did damage
school property.
What
steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help
others become safer on the road?
I
can become a safer and better driver by continuing to use my seat
belt, inspecting the vehicle weekly before driving and watching out
for others. Second, never use a mobile phone while driving. Be
attentive to the road and what’s happening on your travel.
Finally, being a good example for friends and family will instill a
mental picture for others to follow.
