What
is the importance of drivers ed in reducing the number deaths
as a result of driving?
-
Drivers
education is important to the safety on the road because it
provides the basic and essentials knowledge every person needs to
know in order to obey the laws and keep both the in the car and the
outside world, out of harms way. If everyone stuck to the laws and
drove safely, the number of deaths as a result of driving would
greatly decrease.
What
steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?
-
It’s
a hard task to be completed and it’s a shame that we will never
truly get to that point, but the biggest thing is don’t drive
while under the influence or while distracted. Modern cars and
phones always have a lot of ways to help keep your hands on the
wheel, but some people eat and drive, reach for objects, look away
from the road and drive while drunk. That is the biggest step that
can be taken to help reduce the number of deaths on the road.
Have
you ever had an experience of being in car accident or have seen your
friends or family members driving irresponsibly?
-
Yes,
I have been in the car when a family member was drunk, and I have
also been in the car with my little sister while someone was
extremely high and could barley drive. Luckily, everybody was fine,
and no accident was caused but we were a lucky case out of the
millions of drunk driving crashes.
What
steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help
others become safer on the road?
-
I
personally do not drive yet, but I know my biggest issue when it
comes to it is my anxiety. Being anxious while driving is not a
good thing and it’s important to be calm and collected when on
the road. I can help others by answering heir phone when it goes
off or changing the music, so they aren’t distracted.
