The Driver’s Seat
Drivers ed is
an important class that teaches you the rules of the road and what
should be expected from them when behind the wheel. All new drivers
should be required to take a drivers ed class either online or
in a classroom. If more people take a drivers ed class, the
more knowledgeable people will be when behind the wheel.
There are many
steps that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths that are
related to driving. These can include making drivers ed
mandatory for all new drivers. They can also have a staged texting
and driving accident. My high school does this towards the end of the
year for the seniors. Before they graduate, they are able to know the
impact it may have not only on them but the others around them.
I have been in a
car accident. It recently happen. I was in the right lane to turn
onto the freeway when a car came over from the left lane. The
stoplight was red. A car turned at the stoplight and everyone started
inching forward. I had no moved forward yet and the car in the left
hand lane squeezed in front of me. She is not completely in front of
me. Another car at the stop light turn right and everyone inched
forward. The lady in front of me decided to slam on her breaks and I
hit her. Whether your in the right lane or not be aware of your
surroundings.
For everyone to
become a better safer driver, we all need to be aware or our
surroundings and to not get distracted easily. The bad habits we
create while driving can affect the others around us.
