Drivers ed
and the meaning of death due to automotive vehicles are important. As
the population increases, that means, more automotivates are made.
Making a child learn the rules of the road, the actions as well as
the consequences of their actions during driving is a key asset to
saving not only your own life, but someone else. Some key steps to
take to avoid death in driving are to sleep. Get a full night’s rest
before you drive. Don’t drink and drive, it messes with your
vision, hearing, and focus/ concentration. Don’t drive fast,
speeding can result in a crash, and is the person in front of you
hits there brakes, you or someone else could be seriously hurt or
killed. A personal experience was when I was seven years old. My mom,
brother, and I were all driving. My mom was drunk while she was
driving. My brother in the front seat, and me in the back seat. My
mom was drunk, and the person in front of her hit there brakes, and
she side sweep the vehicle crashing it. She died at the scene of the
crash. My brother broke his neck, leg, and lost some teeth. I broke
my arm, fractured my leg, broke my jaw in five places, and was placed
in a coma for three weeks. I woke up in a hospital room, lost 25 lbs,
and was barely alive. I was told I was choking on blood, and was
airlifted to Jackson Ryder trauma. If my mom never drank, she would
be alive today. Some of the steps I suggest for becoming a better
driver is to pay attention. Don’t be drinking and driving, and
don’t speed. Also wear your seatbelt, and be conscious of what you
do on the road. If a turn is not safe to make. Don’t take it. It’s
better to come back to the turn, and n=be a little late, then lose
your own life.
