the barer to go where he/she wants to on their own. This pamphlet is

Section
2 Dangers –
1 Humans – 2 Distracted Drivers
Distracted
Drivers
A
Distracted driver refers to a human driving while engaging in other
activities that distract the driver’s attention away from the road.
Distracted drivers are the second leading cause of deer fatalities,
and according to the human National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration, there are about one million car crashes annually that
involve deer. One of the most popular questions that the DFS gets
about this topic is “why don’t humans pay more attention to the
road.” A big part of this is because some humans don’t spend the
proper time learning about the risks involved. To help show why this
problem is crucial the DFS sent agents to study and collect data on a
human, this subject was identified by its peers as Quinn Thurman.
This human has never been in a car crash, and the DFS agents have
confirmed that all of the other humans in his herd are practitioners
of what is considered to be safe driving. Yet even he isn’t safe
from deer-related car accidents by getting distracted and has had
some close calls with deer on the road. Due to this, the human has
tried to reduce it’s activity on the road at night because the
likely hood of an accident increases after sunset. This human
learned about the roads and making only a minor change to his
lifestyle was able to make the roads a safer place. It is little
sacrifices like these that will help prevent deer-related car
accidents. However, if a human can do it a deer can do it better, so
it is expected that if you get your FFL you will take the appropriate
cautionary steps when crossing the road. Stay away from roads when
possible, always look both ways, spend as little time as possible on
the road, and only cross the road at knight if it is an emergency.
If we as a species could say only one thing to the humans, we would
tell them to pay more attention while driving.
