It can Be So Simple

Driving
education is a crucial part we should use to reduce driving deaths
and raise awareness on safe driving habits. Driving education should
be a class that highschoolers take prior to taking their permit test
to ensure that teens as new drivers are learning good driving habits.
Although, we do not have those classes in school but there are steps
you can take with your friends and family to remind them to drive
safely. Their self awareness affects everyone in the vehicle and the
people around them as well. If they are putting anyone in danger you
should have the confidence to speak up and if you need to, remind
them to keep their eyes on the road. I have never been in a car
accident but I have seen irresponsible driving. Regardless of how
silly it makes me feel I understand that it’s better to speak up than
to not say anything at all. I tell my peers and family that their
poor driving habits makes it seem as though they care very little for
the lives of the others in the car. The steps I can take myself to
monitor and encourage safe driving are to educate my younger and less
experienced sisters on things to do in the car because they won’t
be the only ones to face consequences if anything were to go wrong.
