Drivers Ed Safety

What is the importance in drivers ed that saves millions of lives each year? For the most part you can say that having drivers ed is like having school education in the fact that it teaches you everything you need to know about the road, driving the vehicle, and staying safe. Now just going to school is part of the process, but it is also how you apply what you have learned to the real world, and not just a book, because at the end of the day you will be driving a motor vehicle not a book. Secondly is how you, and I apply our selves with boundaries. When it comes to driving you must always make sure you give the person in front, and behind you proper spacing in order to not hit or get hit by another vehicle. You should also not text and drive as it not only gets you in big trouble with the law but also can cost you your life or somebody else’s life. Always make sure that you are aware of your surroundings and that you drive defensively versus offensively almost like the ultimate game of bumper cars but instead of paying money to crash it will cost you both money and quite possibly your life if you are not careful. Always adhere to speed limits, and every other sign to your left, right, above, or behind you. In my first vehicle I ever had I went to the mall to buy some new clothes, and after four hours I became exhausted to the point where I fell asleep behind the wheel only to start rolling down the hill and hit another car. In this case of being my fault it was not because of my driving ability but because I did not rest up enough the day before. When I was supposed to ship out to Basic Training to join the U.S Army, my parents were going to drop me off but as soon as we got half a mile down the street a lady talking on her phone smashed into my parents vehicle, and due to her reckless action only my dad was able to see me leave while everyone else had to stay behind. So, trust me when I say that while I did not lose my life or my parents it did show me that I have to be more careful while also making sure that other people are on the road with me. The steps I am currently taking to be a better driver is to slow down to the speed limit, because it is a lot better to be late somewhere instead of having the chance to not show up at all. I have also decided to teach my wife how to drive responsibly as well as my sibling. If there is anything else, I can learn to become a better driver I am always open to new ways of doing things to make sure everyone stays safe.
