Driving the World to Safety

Drivers ed plays a very important role in making sure that teens are ready to get behind the wheel and practice safe driving. Educating these teens plays an important role because teenagers are the most likely drivers to get into an accident. If drivers paid more attention to the road rather than other passengers or even their phones, the amount of accidents would be reduced greatly. This information is also taught in drivers ed. Fortunately enough, I have not been in an accident, but I have seen my friends drive irresponsibly. Sometimes even when I am in the car with them. I feel like if they would ignore their ego and stop trying to “be cool” while driving and driving recklessly, then the road would definitely be much more safer. I could always put my phone in my glove compartment to avoid me getting distracted by it going off while I am on the road. I could also limit my number of passengers to reduce my distractions. Overall it is very important to pay attention while driving. Drivers ed paves the way for people to become better drivers as soon as they start driving. Not all of America will respect the privilege of being able to drive, but those who pay more attention to the road will make the world a safer place.
