      The Impact

Many people have lost their life due to distracted driving and it is important to educate people about driving safety before they can get behind the wheel. Drivers ed is necessary because it can help save the lives of many others and not only that, but the person can lead by example helping improve the system. There are a number of things that can help reduce the number deaths related to driving such as not using the phone, eating, being extremely emotional about a situation, smoking, other passengers, outside events etc. If these skills listed were better implemented, then we could have less of a death each year. I have never been in a car accident, but my mother and little brothers were in one and this happened because my mother was being irresponsible and speeding. If she was not speeding the entire situation could have been avoided luckily no one was injured. The steps that I can take to not cause an accident or be in an accident is to not have distractions in my car or informing my passengers to let me focus while driving. Also, not speeding and taking my time not going too slow or too fast can be achieved with more driving classes and a lot of practice and patience.
