Drivers Safety
Drivers Education is very important for the safety of driving because it teaches people how to drive, it goes over the laws and signs, it shows the horrors behind fatal car accidents and tells participates how to drive responsibly. It shows the consequences of driving unsafely. It gives advice to newer drivers helps them learn.
Reducing the number of deaths while driving would be pretty difficult to do, there are so many factors that go into trying to control death behind the wheel. Bars should require to do the breath test before someone who has been drinking leaves, all phones should go into a driver’s mode while you’re on the road that automatically silences and is turned onto do not disturb and sends a text saying the person is currently driving. Teach the youth to be more aware of their surroundings. Stopping and waiting at green lights to make sure no one runs a red light for at least a few seconds after it turns green. Inforce speed limits, and cellphone laws, fix the roads, and make them safer. During wintertime or snowy times, salt the roads to help with traction, during rainy days drive slower and enforce slower speeds, enforce slower speeds during the night time as well, enforce headlights working, but also brighter headlights should be dimmed to keep from blinding other drivers, enforce the brights rule, turn brights off when someone passes you or is in front of you.
I have seen my friends use their phones while driving, them speeding, passing other cars in no-passing zones, eating while driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or marijuana.ive had one friend who drove with his knees while playing on his phone while he’s driving, he would also smoke while driving, he sped everywhere and ran a lot of red lights, had a lot of unpaid tickets. I’m honestly surprised he hasn’t lost his license, he drives so irresponsibly. My parents drive pretty safely, I feel comfortable when riding with them it’s not too bad except when they don’t slow down at lights and stuff, or when they turn. I have never personally been in an accident.
How I feel I could be a safer driver, I should pay more attention to my surroundings, learn the area better so I won’t have to look at a map very often, keep my music on a low volume so I can focus better, and use my horn more when others aren’t paying attention, maybe control my anger a bit better stay calmer in situations than flipping out and yelling. I could also work on not getting as anxious while driving, driving is very stressful for me so I get really anxious and panicky while behind the wheel, I jerk a lot and I slow down a lot when I don’t feel comfortable in a situation, I wait a few seconds at lights and I even stopped turning right on red just cause it stresses me out.
That’s driving Safely
