Drive Safe and Save a Life

Driving is very important for individual freedom to be able to go to and from school, work and anywhere else you want to go where you can drive but it can be very dangerous as well. Taking a drivers education class can reduce the number of deaths as a result in driving. I believe this is true because taking a driver education class can help you feel more comfortable as a driver. It can also help you understand all the rules and safety hazards that need to be taken while driving. There are many steps that can be taken to avoid being in a car accident and or causing one. The first one is drinking under the influence, this is illegal and can end up getting a lot of people hurt or even killed. The second one is being distracted while driving, texting and driving is a huge problem right now with the amount of deaths caused because of it. The third one is speeding, speeding reduces the amount of reaction time you have to stop or swerve a car crash or even hitting something. The fourth one is having a car that has airbags, and all the basic safety features that can save a life. If all of these steps are taken then it will reduce thousands of car accidents. I have never been in a car accident but I do know a friend that has. The steps she could’ve taken to not get into that accident are very basic. If she was focusing on the road and not paying attention to her phone and not paying attention to the people around her she would have had more reaction time to be able to stop and not hit the car.
